The project is a series of mosaic murals embedded into the sidewalk of Brookline Street in the Central Square neighborhood of Cambridge, Massachusetts. Each mural has an historical relationship to the address where it is installed. Some of the images are of people that lived on the street in years past, some are of businesses that once were located at that address, others are of schools and parks. Within a public park central to the project a large porcelain enamel plaque identifies the locations and stories behind all the mosaic murals.
